Ed Smith, passionate about writing, started with his debut book, Recruit and Retain Driver Recruiting in the Transportation and Logistics Industry. 

 A disabled and medically retired Army Veteran of 28 years, business owner, and transportation industry veteran of 30+ years, he felt it was time to begin sharing his wealth of knowledge in many business segments. Later in life, he earned his Bachelor's in Management from the University of Phoenix and learned that knowledge is power, but it does no good if it’s never shared. He has completed 2 other books on recruiting, and has several other books already in progress.

He also has a creative side to his personality as well, and has been tossing ideas around for fictional work in the near future, for both children and adults alike.

Born, raised, and resides in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife and two daughters. His son is married with three amazing grandchildren. He and his wife love to travel and will often find them on the beaches and streets of Sint Maarten, where they plan to eventually retire.
